Centurion is the highest level in this Cressi technician certification pathway. It recognizes extensive experience, master-level technical competence and the ability to guide other technicians. Building on Imperial, this level reflects sustained professional development and the breadth of knowledge expected of a technical reference within the scuba-diving industry.
Prerequisites
Cressi Imperial Tech certification required.
Progression requirements: 8 completed updates and approximately 16 years of experience
Mandatory pre-course online e-learning must be completed before attending. It introduces our technical vocabulary, tool names, schematics and other preparatory concepts, helping you understand the terminology and materials used during the course.
Minimum age: 18 years
Course duration: 1-2 days
Certification validity: 2 years
Course content
The course combines an introduction to Cressi with standards, CE certification, lubricants and basic technical knowledge. These topics provide context for understanding the equipment you present to customers. The emphasis is on technical awareness for sales conversations; practical regulator servicing is addressed in the subsequent technician levels.
Theoretical session:

Practical exercises:
- Disassembly,
- Cleaning is covered through explanation only, not as a practical exercise.
- Reassembly,
- Calibration
- Testing on the mobile test bench.
Equipment and specialties:
- Cleaning and maintenance refresher;
- All first-stage
- All second-stage
- A minimum of 12 specialties;
- Inflator
- Submersible pressure gauge (SPG).
Assessment:
- At the end of the theoretical session, you must score above 80% in the final theory exam.
- You must also achieve at least 80% in the assessment conducted during the course.
Skills acquired by the end of the course
Master-level competence in regulator maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration, with additional skills developed through Cressi's exclusive specialties. Able to support other technicians with recommendations, practical advice and guidance. Recognized by Cressi as a highly experienced technician and a technical reference in the scuba-diving industry.

Certification validity and renewal
Your certification is valid for 2 years. Complete a mandatory update course every 2 years, before your current certification expires, to keep your credentials active.
